About the event
We have been informed by the Commissioner’s office, that there will be upcoming road improvement
conducted that are scheduled to begin on Monday, June 6, 2023. Please see below for the details
regarding the work ahead.
The overlay will take place on the 0.4-mile stretch from FM 1314 to Colorado Dr. Blading of the road will
be the first, then the road will be paved and striped. The work should take a week and a half to
complete, barring any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (weather, etc.).
Attached is a map to give you a better idea of the traffic plan during the project. Each side of the road
will be closed off from FM 1314 to Brazos Drive while work is being done on the other side, meaning
each side will be down to 1 lane for 2-way traffic. The side entering the neighborhood will be done first
(right side), so all traffic will be diverted to the left side. Traffic will cross back over at the guard shack, so
residents can still enter and exit on FM 1314 as normal.
